Of course, the other reason why it doesn't "work" (at least for me),
is that it's indented with tabs rather than 4 spaces.  ;-)

Now, I'll repeat that wink, just to be absolutely clear.

Actually, seriously, I'd also note that 'list' is not a good choice of
variable name, since it obscures the list() builtin.
