python wrapper for FreeBSD fdisk, disklabel, etc?

I was wondering if someone has written a wrapper
for FreeBSD's "fdisk", "disklabel", "newfs" and "mount".

If not, any suggestions/hints along the lines of using
os.system/os.popen would be fantastic.
