SLP bindings?

Hello,

does anyone know of *any pythonic efforts* to implement
a 'Service Locator Protocol' (SLP) as defined by

    http://www.openslp.org/doc/rfc/rfc2614.txt

where openslp.org provides a C/java implementation already?

AFAIK dynamic platform independent registration and locating 
via SLP seems to be very promising. I know of some LAN-instances 
where all services (nfs, cups, smb, ...) are located via this protocol.
