problems compiling Python2.2.1 on OpenBSD3.0

I tried to compile Python 2.2.1 on OpenBSD3.0 (MacPPC Version),
but it does not work. After running the configure script. I tried
make. But make seems to run in an infinte loop!

Can anybody help me?
