Embedding in Tkinter (reprise)

Hi everybody,

I wanted to ask you if it is possible to embed an external graphical
program in
a Tkinter Window: e.g. run xclock in a Tkinter frame or canvas.

The same question was posted by someone else almost one year ago, but
witout
