no module named windowsc?

I installed python 2.2 for windows on my windows 2000 professional
machine and also installed fxpy for python 2.2.

When I try to run any of the example programs that come with fxpy I
get the same error - a complaint about windowsc:

C:\Python22\FXPy>python windows.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "windows.py", line 2, in ?
    import windowsc
ImportError: No module named windowsc

Searching on windowsc I can't seem to come up with much of anything.
Can anyone give me a clue about what might be going on?
