Yes! exciting times are coming again as Intel, AMD and Microsoft (among
quite a few others) are banding together to once more put ID numbers (and
now basic encryption) onto next generation silicon. Microsoft will then
start offering it's "secure" (from M$? heh!) OS that will only permit
certified apps to run, not to mention certified music and video.
