Gabriel himself has done an excellent job of denying (and reaffirming,
and redenying, and ...:-) those ideas.  The only thing they aren't, is
*ignorable* -0- you do have to wrestle with them, if you agree that
"the unexamined life is not worth living" (Socrates).
