Hello.

We are looking for a Python developer to outsource (off-site) some
development work to.

The software needs to parse text files, and save the results in to a
database (a few tables). The text files come in a couple of dozen
different formats, with mostly the same fields, but some different. We
have an initial body of working code that handles a couple of formats
and some fields; it needs to be expanded to handle all of the formats
and all of the fields. You will need to create test cases, and validate
that the code passes test cases (an automated test suite). You will
need to propose additions/changes of fields to the database where
needed.

If this sounds like something you're qualified for, please send:

* contact information (we mostly use email)

* short description of any similar work you've done, particular with
text parsing or regular expressions

* a work sample, if you have anything small / open-source / etc. to
send.

* hourly rate

to: python-job at oasisdigital.com

Please respond only to that address. No third parties - individual
developers only, please. We only need one Python developer at the
moment, but will hold on to any responses for future needs also.
Thanks!
