Documenting 3rd party modules

Should a 3rd party module ideally be documented using the Python LaTeX
system?

Can I expect to be able to teach LyX to use the Python document
classes?

Should a module distribution include HTML or other common form
in addition to the LaTeX source?

Is there a convention for integrating docs for a 3rd party module into
the overall Python documentation?
