It looks like others have already answered your Python question, so I'll
give a couple of tips on using newsgroups. For starters, turn off HTML
posting in Outlook Express -- when you use a text-only newsreader like
most people do, it looks really ugly, as you can see from the couple of
lines I quoted above here. It's very simple: click on Tools->Options,
click the "Send" tab, and change both "Mail Sending Format" and "News
Sending Format" to Plain Text instead of HTML. Voila! Much better.
