Which both is pretty much flawed as it can be done otherwise as well
(it's a bit harder to implement, but still, it can be done). About
the
only situation I'd see some sense to use them is sites with
customizations so that the site is customized like you want it
without
needing to login first (stuff like themes etc in various content
management systems such as phpwebsite springs into mind), everywhere,
it's flawed.
