IDE Studio (http://starship.python.net/crew/mike/) comes in a complete
frozen binary distribution for Linux. Just cd to the bin/linux-x86/
directory and run ./IDEStudio.
To install from the sources, you'll need to install Tixapps first:
http://tix.sourceforge.net/Tixapps/
