redhat 7.1 linux upgrade of Python 1.52 to 2.0

Building from the src.rpm as worked fine for me. I have downloaded the
latest version directly from python.org and created the rpms with a
simple:
rpm --rebuild python2-2.2-2.src.rpm 

It creates four rpms in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/.
