ODBC on unix w/o mxODBC

Wow, that looks like a pretty neat package.  The Python DB page should
link to it.  However, it doesn't use ODBC.  I guess I mostly care
about MySQL and PostgreSQL, which have their own non-ODBC interfaces
that are implemented by existing Python modules, so maybe ODBC isn't
that important for my purposes.  Thanks.
