ODBC on unix w/o mxODBC

I hadn't heard of iODBC before, but just found the home page www.iodbc.org
and it mentions that a Python bridge (whatever that is) already exists.

There are also some Perl DBI ODBC implementations, I think.  Maybe one
of those could be connected to Python somehow.
