call vb dll (will pop up vb form) form python

Hi,

I have a visual basic component (dll) which will pop up a form in run time).
When I try to call this dll in python (using activie python on win2000), it
give the
following error message like this:
Unable to show modal form in this enviroment

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.
