Take a latin alphabet. Take a lot of exceptions. Throw in some weird
letters. Take some English words. Change a lot of spelling. Mix in some
more spooky letters. Make rules. Make exceptions to these rules.  Make
even more exceptions. Shuffle. The resulting language will be German :)

(I have very little knowledge of German and some of English :)
