History of language evolved from C to Python.  But, for learning, you
can go backward.  But, no matter what, you should know both C and
Python.

C++ takes years.  But, you can pick up C or Python in one week, and be
comfortable in one month.

Your choice, however, would depend on whatever language that is used in
your computer course.
