Boa?

I had the same problem.  Boa Constructor 0.5 doesn't work with the
latest version of wxPython, 2.3.3.  You need to either use wxPython
2.3.2, as they recommend at
http://boa-constructor.sourceforge.net/Download.html, or use the
latest version from CVS.  I tried the latter, and that fixed the
problem.
