Hi Sean,
I have installed Komodo personal edition on my win2k laptop, and like you I
am very pleased with it so far.
One thing I was looking for, is an IDE that would work on both Linux and
Windoze, running the linux one via X windows-Exceed on my laptop.
For some strange reasons, Pythoncard, Boa constructor will crash Exceed
(wxPython related???). Komodo is supported only in Red Hat and Suse (if I
remember well), I am using Gentoo linux, and Komodo won't install on it.
Did try wing ide, did'nt find it appealing. Could not get Eric to install on
my laptop.
So I will probably stick with Komodo on the laptop, and keep looking for the
Linux environment...
Regards,
Francois

Try this:
http://www.activestate.com/Products/Komodo/
There's a trial version and, if you want to purchase it, they have a
personal use license for about $30.
It's what I use, and I've been very happy with it.
