do a google search on "python spyce" spyce is what you are looking for.
site *may* be spyce.sourceforge.net . userlocal.com recently posted 3
links to articles from some other site on setting up mod_python to use
spyce and the basics of using spyce etc. just like with mason you need
mod_perl you need mod_python for spyce, be sure to compile python without
threads for use with mod_python.
