Hello
I wonder if the planned specs of php version 5, which will make it
more object oriented, and a web front end to J2EE apps:
"Significant performance improvements and a much more complete
object-oriented programming environment will allow PHP to provide a
powerful Web front end for enterprise-class .NET and J2EE-based
applications"
http://www.theopenenterprise.com/story/TOE20021204S0001/1
and the approval of Sun for an Open Source Java:
"JBoss received the green light last week, after Sun told ComputerWire
that it would allow all of the APIs contained in J2EE 1.4 to be open
sourced"
http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/53/28472.html
Will slow down or even stop the adoption of Python for Web
applications?
What do you think??
