My hands hurt! It took me 0.01 seconds to write "I am a bad computer" 
1000 time, at
100000.0 loops per second!!!

under IDLE, no occluded windows:

My hands hurt! It took me 13.37 seconds to write "I am a bad computer" 
1000 times, at
74.794315632 loops per second!!!

        But what does this prove? That one shouldn't run an I/O bound program 
using an interpreted graphical display (Tkinter/IDLE)?
