Python 2.2.1 C API - Error Handling

weird, my followup appeared on the wrong thread...

okay, ya gcc 3 seems crazy. i tried using throw_argument_error() 
and couldn't get it to work, so we've just reverted back to 
gcc 2.96 and its working alright (even tho 2.96 is actually 
3.0something i think)

we'll be rewriting soon with boost v2 anyways
