ANN: Python 2.2.1 for Sharp Zaurus

Riverbank Computing is pleased to annouce the release of the port to
Python v2.2.1 to the Sharp Zaurus. We believe the port will also run
unchanged on the Compaq iPAQ (running Linux).

This Python port has been tailored to reduce the storage requirement for
PDAs:

- removal of modules orientated to development and servers

- re-use of the zlib code included in Qtopia

- reduction in module inter-dependencies (eg. the core does not require
distutils)

- modules split into separately installable "collections".
