Just a nit:

Dennis Ritchie invented C.  http://cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/who/dmr/chist.html

Brian helped invent the AWK language, a precursor to Python.  AWK stands for
Aho Weinberger and Kernighan.  Brian wrote a lot of books about C but he was
not one of the inventors.
