PyQt requires a "Mandatory" 'from qt import *' ...?

For what it's worth, and if it's of any help to either martellibot or
Phil, the code runs without error -- clicking Quit or closing via the
"X" -- on Debian woody, Python 2.1, and with the python-pyqt package
installed.
