Python 2.1: Which Tcl/Tk version?

     I've had problems in the past with Python version X not being
compatible with Tcl/Tk version Y.

     I'd like to know what the official version Python 2.1 was released on
so I can build and debug Tkinter-dependent modules (e.g. PyOpenGL) with
that version.

     Haven't found the official word on this on the Python web site or in
the archives.  python.org's tcl/tk version references are confusing,
referencing both 8.0.4 and 8.3.2.
