hello,

I have just shifted towards enterprise management area (CA unicenter) and
will need to be able
to extend the agents wherever CA doesnt have one (or replace theirs with
simple implementations as
theirs cost a bomb !).

it seems that one needs to code in java to access libraries, api for many of
these new and upcoming standards.
I have coded in perl, and OO coding is too much to take for me. I have
avoided to get onto java bandwagon yet.
CA has Java component API for extending/coding the script agents.. or some
such..

Can I make do with python/Jpython(!) to be able to acomplish my work ?
Does anyone have any experiences in the related field to share, will be
happy to know.

regards,
prasad.
