Mark Lutz's Programming Python, 2nd Edition has an example of python in 
IE similar to VBScript.  Unfortunately, I've loaned out my copy 
(actually it was swiped from my desk with a note saying "I'll get this 
back to you tomorrow"), so I can't look it up for you.  I believe I read 
that the necessary glue for IE was in Mark Hammond's win32all package. 
And it only works with IE.
