The origin of the thread was the 101,278,513th co-discovery that 
obviously exact results aren't exact.  [Counting more than just Python 
users, of course...not to mention my making up the number just now.]  
Triggered, again, by the interpreter's (wholly proper, IMHO) use of 
repr() to display a result.
