wxPython to create a database front end

I want to create a database front-end set of forms.  If I use the built in
functionality of MSAccess, I can create forms with all the programmable
buttons, then look at the properties of each button and finally write VBA
that does what I want.

Is this point and click type GUI creation possible with wxPython?  I have
Visual C++ but want the application to be portable.  Is there a web tutorial
on how to do this?
