You're likely right, but if BDFL wants to blur the distinction between 
exact and approximate quantities, I will likely pick a language that better 
matches the way I think.  I would be happier with a language that had no 
floats in it at all than one in which my integers mysteriously turned into 
floats because I forgot to use the different nonstandard operator notation.

Beyond that, I am going to stop participating in this discussion, I don't 
think I have any more to add.
