Hey, hey!  Courageous is not so courageous, after all!  I learned LISP
on punched cards, and believe me, the keypunch artillery had no special
`plonk' noise for a mismatched parenthesis :-).  Re-indenting the body of a
function could take a lot of minutes of work even to an experienced puncher.
People have thin skins! :-)
