This is an argument I often hear against usability tests for webpages.
You should not leave the decision to them, but make your decision
based on what they need and can use to make good code.
This is sometimes hard to find out and I know that there is no
practical solution to this problem.

I do. 
(And just because I do not participate very actively 
in Python's programming design does not mean 
I know nothing about designing programming languages.)
