Language change and code breaks

This would annoy the hell out of me, as I use and will continue to use
vim as my primary code editor. Anyone who builds a development
environment which requires specialized tools for the environment --
-- even if the requirement is indirect because things don't function quite
right without the tools --  loses my business forthright.

The moment using "tools" with Python becomes an essential part of
creating Python programs, the language is dead to me. All of this
pent-up rancor of mine comes with my open contempt for Lisp environ-
ments which more or less simply require you to use Emacs.
