I believe that ActivePython is dependent upon the system registry,
so this may not be possible for you.  However, PythonWare has
a registry-independent distro at

http://www.pythonware.com/products/python/index.htm

This should work for your purposes, if I'm interpereting those
purposes and PythonWare's info correctly.  :)
