hi,

what's the current development state with python2c? i just downloaded
the cvs version (1.0a4) and it seems to work well (at least with some
small test scripts).

the python2c homepage doesn't seem to work and the cvs version looks
rather old. is there any development - are there other
compilers/converters?

what's about the performance. i think the compiled binary still uses
the python api - are there any advantages over interpreted bytecode?
