I was going to try the compile and see if it was easy but I note that
you have filenames of ZEO and zeo in the directory ZEO. To obfuscate a
little less:
zodb/ZEO/
zodb/ZEO/ZEO/
zodb/ZEO/zeo
tar: zodb/ZEO/zeo: Could not create file: Permission denied
