Tkinter vs wxPython: your opinions?

 I don't know when will this be supported by wxPython, but wxWindows now has a
(still experimental) wxCanvas class which is meant to provide much the same
functionality. You can build its demo (in C++) if you get the wxWindows
sources from the cvs.

 There is. It is officially in beta and I've never used it myself so I can't
really comment on it, but people found it mostly usable. The worst I heard
about wxMac port was that its existence was not widely known.
