Python cgi-script hangs when client terminates browser...

We have a Python script that is started as a cgi-script
running under the Apache web-server. The script is (of
course) started by a client pressing a HTML-button in his
browser.

If the client get impatient, and terminates his browser
before the script is finished, Python and the script is
hanging on the server.

Python 1.5.2
Win32All 1.2.8
Apache 1.3.12

All running on WinNT 4.0 SP6a


Any ideas?
