Switch fonts when it matters? Any reasonable macroable editor should 
hopefully be scriptable for this... Xnews and Eudora each have a button to 
toggle proportional/nonproportional mode so you can use whatever is 
appropriate, that kind of thing would be nice. (I just use shift-mouse1 in 
ntemacs, and pick what i feel like at the time :)
