Writing python documentation with LyX?

I'd like to know if someone has used LyX for writing documents which conform 
to the Python doc standards. Basically this would mean having written the lyx 
layout files corresponding to the manual and howto document classes defined 
by Python.

It would save me a lot of work not to have to do those from scratch if 
someone has already done them. Ever since I started using LyX years ago, I 
can't bring myself to writing raw latex anymore :)
