unless your formatting needs are fairly simple, this is the kind of problem 
that can only be solved *correctly* using latex. You don't give many details 
so it's hard to tell exactly what you're after, but maybe auto-generating the 
latex might be a good solution for you. If you also need to edit it, you can 
always use lyx as a user-friendly front end (it runs in windows, though I've 
never tried it).
