Python 1.5.x vs Python 2.x.x

    What about users and other vendors that have working python scripts that
use things that have changed between python 1.5 and 2.x?  It would be a bit
embarassing for redhat to claim compatibility between major versions and 
suddenly have working python scripts break after doing a point upgrade.
