I'm trying to remember when and where exactly Guido promised me
that I would get a heavily weighted vote in the design of Python.
As I sift through my few memories of direct interaction with Guido,
I come up with "never".

It's one thing to argue that a change is bad for the language.
It's entirely another to demand a vote, and to whine when you
don't receive one. If Guido didn't promise you a vote, he doesn't
owe you one.

At the end of the day, it's his language. He has given you good
stuff in the past, for which many people feel gratitude is
appropriate, and he is quite likely to give you more good stuff
in the future.

Yikes. Get some therapy.
