How do I update my API?

Thanks Neil,

The directory and file /config/Makefile is missing from 
/usr/lib/python2.1. I don't understand why it shouldn't be tho, it is 
the Python-2.1.tgz download from sourceForge that I used and I thought 
that was the complete source code.
