Actually, in order to do that, I think they'd first have to know that
Windows users exist <wink>.  This is a curious fact of life:  Open Source
projects do seem to suffer on Windows, but not so much because the platform
is intractable as that comparatively so few Windows users contribute back.
We Windows weenies are *all* major leeches off Mark Hammond's tireless
multi-year Python Windows work, and he had no luck *begging* for help much
of that time.

I don't know about the XML-SIG in particular (haven't followed it), but can
say they added several tests to the std test suite for 2.0b1 and 2.0b2, and
they appear to work as well on Windows as anywhere else.  So, just maybe,
you're missing something here.  Like, for example, that it's a beta release,
and is therefore almost guaranteed to be buggy?

Martin should take that to heart, and thanks, but I don't need it:  I'm a
paid corporate apologist now!  There is *nothing* in the Python world I
