Problems with ftblib and Winsock 2

Our office just installed Winsock 2 on all the PCs for during a update of
Netscape. Now, when ever I use FTP and then exit Python, I generate a page
fault:

invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7b9a6

This error occurs on Win95 and Win98 machines, using both Python 1.5.2 and
Python 2.0c1. The page fault occurs with interactive Python, pythonw, IDLE
and scripts. Strangely enough, the scripts work, but the page fault pops up
when Python exits. Please help!
